The Next Steps Class will follow the Membership Matters Class and is for anyone who has not attended this class yet.

In Next Steps, our aim is to help believers feed themselves. I want to give those in the class tools that they can take away that will be used by them for the rest of their life to mature in Christ. Even when I teach the class, I still learn things and am challenged to make sure I am practicing what is being taught. Even those who consider themselves mature believers need this class in order to be challenged. We should never take our walk with Christ for granted. If you are not learning and growing, then you are stagnant and falling backwards.
We specifically talk about the foundational areas in each Christian’s walk that need to be in place. We begin with the very foundation of a Quiet Time and give specifics on what to include in this daily time with God. And we take people where they are and try to show how even a very busy person can put a Quiet Time into their schedule. We talk about Bible Study, the importance of this, and how to do it. We talk about Prayer and give some tools that will help people engage in prayer on a more regular basis. We talk about tithing – what the Bible says about it and why it is important for the Believer. And we talk about fellowship – why we need fellowship.

This is a two session class that meets on February 6 & 13, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in our Conference Room.
