On August 3 we have been planning the new format for our business sessions to involve music, teaching, stories, prayer and business elements. A ministry fair provides the opportunity for any and all ministries of the church to present their vision and missions and personnel needs for their ongoing work.  We will begin with the actual calling to order of the business session and do that first. Then testimonies, stories, and ministry reports then will serve as the introduction to the ministry fair itself. So as a part of this we officially each ministry leader to answer these questions:

What’s the purpose of your ministry? What do people enjoy most about serving in your ministry? What are your goals for the next year of ministry? What are the personnel needs and opportunities to serve? When and where does your ministry function?

All the ministries get folded into one of the six strategies. At the least these six areas will present with these leaders and others within these overall areas presenting.

Family Ministries—Evan
Worship—Wes
First Impressions—Wes Fortin. Greeting. Facilities. Web presence.
Meaningful conversations—Doug Ingram. All things evangelism. Missions.
Community Care—Travis Moore. All ways we are seeking to do outreach in the immediate community and beyond.
Life-Long Learning—Buddy Lipscomb

Then we will scatter to various locations within the building to explore further ideas and give more detail about each area of ministry.
