Town Hall Meeting
Monday, August 6, 6 p.m.
At our Town Hall on Sunday, June 10th the Elder team, Task team and Developers presented a Purchase Offer for the unused property behind the church. During the meeting some questions were raised, and we promised to get answers. Over the seven weeks since then we’ve been busy getting answers and listening to members of our fellowship. We’re very thankful for the insights gained through this process. The Lord is so faithful how He works to answer our prayers for wisdom and guidance.
This coming Monday, August 6th at 6 pm in the Church Fellowship Hall, we’re having a Town Hall Follow-up meeting to review answers we’ve gathered, and to present a revised Purchase Offer that takes into account your insights and recommendations.
We have sent emails to those church members we have emails for. For those who did not receive this email, a printed copy of the Revised Purchase Offer is available at the Welcome Desk in the church foyer. In addition, a revised plat is on an easel in the church foyer.
We want to be good stewards of our Lord’s property, to more effectively enable carrying out His mission: sharing the great news of His love in our community and in the world. As I said when we started this journey together 7+ weeks ago – “We truly serve a Great God! He is doing great things among us! One way our Lord is glorified is when He works outside of our plans or ability.”
When it is outside of our plans or ability – only He gets the glory!
